Seifried Research is a 100% USA owned and operated engineering company focused on providing Green technology solutions for applications in thermal control that reduce or eliminate harmful liquids and contribute to the ongoing effort to help sustain our planet.

What we are doing.
Currently we are advancing thermal management and airflow technology in the home refrigeration industry to elminiate the need for dangerous fluorinert and noisy compressors. See our progress.

We have improved and expanded the traditional cold plate design in ways not thought imaginable.

Our SR6 6 TE system runs using less power, less water, and far less maintenance. This also means that you are getting the same fittings and hookups, you need only replace the heat exchanger and nothing else.

Why thermoelectric heat exchangers?
Over the last decade, the world has begun to shift away from traditional compressor-based cooling due to the harmful chemicals they require. Thermoelectric systems do not require the liquid that compressor-based systems require, another advantage of thermoelectrics is that they are far quieter and require less maintenance than a compressor.
How did we do it?
Utilizing our patented design we have achieved a massive performance boost in cooling capacity allowing a small, lightweight heat exchanger that is unlike anything else in the market. Our system uses the same Peltier chips and fittings found across the world, allowing maximum contact and heat removal with a substantial reduction in production costs. It has already exceeded our expectations in every category.
What this allows.
Because it is significantly cheaper to make and exceptionally lighter it can be used in completely new applications. Electric vehicles can now use this system effectively without worry of energy consumption or added weight. Not only that it can now be used in home Hydroponics, Medical/Laboratory equipment, refrigeration, and possibly even in GPU cooling. See our Applications page for more information.
Current Projects
Using our new cold plates in building a novel heat exchanger, compressors and associated refrigerants are no longer needed for cooling home and commercial refrigeration systems. Our cooling system is a high efficiency product that lowers electrical usage while maintaining optimum cooling and freshness for the refrigerated items. Ongoing testing has provided proven results that advanced thermoelectric designs can provide sufficient cooling to match that of standard home refrigeration systems using our proprietary cold plates integrated into a new heat exchanger concept.
